What is Dark Tunnel

Dark Tunnel uses V2Ray, a proxy protocol that modifies the size, timing and internal structure of each network packet before it leaves your device. This removes the traffic signatures that deep packet inspection systems use to identify and block tunnelling. The result looks to a network inspection system like ordinary HTTPS browsing. It is the correct tool when all standard tunnel apps fail due to DPI rather than port blocking.

✓ Configs expire within hours of being uploaded, suggesting active DPI on your line

✓ You are on a corporate or institutional network with additional filtering on top of your carrier

✓ You need a connection that is harder to identify and block than standard SSH or TLS tunnels

◆ Standard configs are working fine , Dark Tunnel offers no speed advantage in normal conditions

◆ You need maximum speed , obfuscation limits throughput to 3 to 9 Mbps on most networks

◆ Connection failures are caused by an expired proxy port, not DPI , Dark Tunnel cannot fix port blocking

◆ You need a fast connection , Dark Tunnel takes 8 to 15 seconds to complete its handshake

Networks with deep packet inspection can identify and block most VPN traffic. V2Ray disguises traffic as normal web requests, making it much harder to block.
