SocksIP Config Files

Socksip implements SOCKS5 proxying, which differs fundamentally from the HTTP proxy method used by most other apps on this list. SOCKS5 operates at a lower level and routes all traffic types rather than just HTTP requests, which means networks that have learned to identify and block HTTP proxy traffic often cannot block SOCKS5 without also breaking legitimate applications. It is the correct fallback when HTTP-based tunnels are consistently failing.
